Solidarity and social action of the philanthropic Shriners organization, whose mission is to provide and pay for specialized burn and trauma treatment to children, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, disability, or origin, inspired a group of people to form the First Bolivia Shrine Club.

The Shriners Club in Bolivia since November 2009 had the mission of bringing Bolivian children to receive medical treatment at Shriners Hospitals in Galveston, Philadelphia, Boston and Tampa.

Thanks God in 2015, the Club received the support of Heather Rodger, member of the Hospital who found Tim and Linda to welcome our first two children.

Accommodation, transport and food were always the big problem they were trying resolved to continue bringing children to Tampa.

This year (2016) the Association of Bolivian Ladies in Tampa as an independent corporation opened the doors to more children committing to cooperate with all these requirements demanded by the Hospital, such as housing, food, and transportation, so the Bolivia Shrine Club can continue negotiating the transfer of Bolivian children to receive medical treatment at the Shrines Hospital in Tampa; helping to this children to have a better quality life.
